a proposal.

I remember a time when I’ll only be a nanosecond had nothing but original content. It was before the advent of Tumblarity (which may be the worst decision Tumblr has made), and I had a grand total of three followers then, but it didn’t matter.

I enjoyed the time before Formspring, before the reblog-if’s, before all that.

This blog used to be a project that involved me taking a photo a day. I managed to keep it up for about 2 months, and stopped. That’s owed to my extremely short attention span. Haha. But I remember bringing my camera with me everyday, sorting through my shots when I finally sat down at my laptop at home, picking my favorite, and thinking up a weird/pseudo-thoughtful caption for it. It just felt nice knowing that every single thing on my Tumblr then was undeniably and absolutely mine.

I haven’t had a New Year’s resolution in years, and it’s probably bad form to bring back the habit with something as “shallow” as a thing on the Internet, but what the heck.

I am going on hiatus for a while. Starting 2010, no more reblogs. I’ll be posting my photography, but I won’t be turning this Tumblr back into a Project 365. There will be mini-reviews, or musings about things, and I’ll be posting example photos for those, so it still won’t be 100% original content, but I’ll be feeling much better about it. Plus, I’ll be exercising my art creation and appreciation at the same time. There will still be typography escapades, but I’ll try to use my own photography for those as much as possible.

Basically, still random shit, but my random shit.

They come in black or white, and I don’t mind which. My Apple-issued earphones, while pretty good, are kinda falling apart.

Thigh High (or longer) Socks

I need them long so they don’t roll down my thighs everytime I sit down/take a step. I’d love some dark colors like the photo (not black, for once), and white/cream.
